Back To TopThe Lounge is the main hotel bar where we regularly host live music sessions. Every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday we have local artists plus special guests etc. As well as being a fully licenced bar, we also serve food every day from 10.30am until 9pm.

Back To TopExperience a true slice of Irish atmosphere and hospitality with quality entertainment and lively sessions several times a week with regular performances ranging from traditional informal Irish music sessions to more local bluegrass and Jazz bands.
Tuesdays - Trad Session
Tuesday night sessions in O'Donovans Hotel are a long standing Clonakilty tradition. Bringing together anywhere between 7 and 20 musicians every week, this promises to be a unique and lively experience for any Clonakilty visitor.
Order a pint and relax by the warm fire as musicians play a selection of traditional Irish ballads, jigs and reels.
Thursdays - Easy Listening with the Underdogs
Thursdays is a blend of easy listening, swing and blues with local band the Underdogs.
Sundays - Rhythm 'n' Blues/Swing/Jazz
Sundays are shared by two bands who play in the hotel bar on alternating weekends. Blue Velvet(pictured) who play jazz and swing every second Sunday and every other Sunday Blues Train play rhythm and blues.
